Emily is writer specializing in speculative fiction, creative nonfiction, and poetry. She is a Registered Nurse and holds a Masters in Public Health. Her passion for storytelling emerged at a young age, when she self-published a fiction novella at 12 (The Ghost in Nile Village). She is inspired by boundary-pushing writers such as Ling Ma, Ottessa Moshfegh, and Catherine Lacey. She also enjoys sewing, biking, gardening, and hanging out with her two cats, Taco and Misty.
